CLARK, Philippines—Australian owned outsourcing firm Beepo Inc. announced today that its office in the Philippines is now in full operation. The company opened its doors in Clark Freeport Zone, a growing business hub. Beepo is currently expanding its Philippine talent pool in order to cater to the company’s growing client base.
The company was founded by Brisbane-based Entrepreneur Aimee Engelmann together with her husband Mark Engelmann early in January. Before creating Beepo, Aimee founded a successful marketing agency now in its seventh year of operation.
“Beepo is still relatively new and we’re already getting a lot of attention. We opened the doors in April and we have 32 positions so far,” says Aimee. “We’ve had hundreds of interested applicants from all over the Philippines. Australian SMEs are also visiting the Beepo office in the Philippines almost weekly. Mike O’ Hagan of Mike’s Manila Tours brings his business tours to Beepo to discuss outsourcing and our insights.”
The outsourcing industry has grown a lot in the past few years. As micro-globalism expert Scott Linden Jones explains about Australia’s move to outsource, “Banks and telcos led the exodus about six years ago, and now the state's small and medium-sized businesses are following suit, moving their back-office functions such as bookkeeping, marketing, sales services, graphic design and a myriad of IT functions.” He also adds that the fastest-moving industries in Australia are those under cash pressures such as construction and manufacturing which need a lot of admin, marketing, finance, and sales support.
Beepo aims to help Australian SMEs grow their business. The company specialises in providing end-to-end solutions in sales and marketing but also provides other services such as bookkeeping, outbound calling, administration, HR/recruitment support and software development.

So what’s next for Beepo? Aimee says the company will grow to 200 strong by 2015 and this will be through targeting industry niche solutions and through strategic partnerships such as Mike’s Manila Tours. Aimee’s advice for fellow business owners considering outsourcing, “Open your mind to what’s possible.”
